Seeking Head of Product Growth

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Product Growth to join our team.

The ideal candidate for the Head of Product Growth role at 18Birdies should possess a strong background in product management and product growth, particularly within the mobile app space. They should have proven experience in user growth, A/B testing, data analysis, and the execution of growth strategies.

The Head of Product Growth role will play a critical role in driving the future user and revenue growth for 18Birdies.


Responsibilities

Monitor and Evaluate User Engagement and Satisfaction

  • Utilize a framework to monitor, evaluate, theorize, test, measure, and iterate in order to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction and growth.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including user acquisition, conversion rates, and user behavior within the app.
  • Regularly measure and report the performance of KPIs and product updates.

User Acquisition and Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies to attract and onboard new users.
  • Identify and leverage key acquisition channels, optimizing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, partnerships, and other relevant channels.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop cohesive marketing campaigns that enhance user acquisition and engagement.

Optimization and A/B Testing

  • Devise and execute A/B testing strategies to optimize user experience, conversion rates, and retention.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize key user flows, including app store landing pages, onboarding, and user connection processes.
  • Implement push and email campaigns to increase usage, enhance user enjoyment, and grow the community.

Data-Driven Insights and Actionable Strategies

  • Study and propose actionable insights to improve app performance based on data analysis.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvements and optimizations across the user journey.

Product Development and Roadmap Management

  • Develop requirements and needs for the product roadmap, ensuring quality execution.
  • Manage requirements for product-led growth initiatives.

Tool Selection and Evaluation

  • Evaluate and select appropriate tools to support and improve growth initiatives.


Requirements

  • Strong understanding of core business objectives and knowledge of the levers to achieve them.

Data Analysis and Actionable Insights

  • Ability to extract meaningful and actionable information from available data.
  • Proficiency in evaluating data, processes, and user flows to uncover risks and opportunities.

Strategic Theorizing and Testing

  • Skilled in theorizing how to improve a process or flow and effectively test and measure the performance of the theory.


Communication Skills

  • Clear, effective, and concise communication skills, applicable to both customer interactions and internal communications at 18Birdies.

Strategic Execution and Focus

  • Strong focus, tenacity, and the ability to successfully execute strategic goals.


Creativity and Open-Mindedness

  • Demonstrated creativity and open-mindedness in problem-solving and strategy development.

Customer Satisfaction Orientation

  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and enhancing user experience.
     

Product Strategy and Vision

  • Strong product strategy vision and the ability to plan and execute what is needed to achieve that vision.


Competitive Spirit

  • An inherent ability and will to win and maintain a leading position in the market.

Relevant Background Experience

  • Background in mobile applications and digital marketing is a plus.
  • Knowledge or background in golf is advantageous.
  • Experience in growing a community is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in product management or related roles
